The United States and Cuba clash over human rights at U.N. meeting

Cuban delegates once again cited the U.S. embargo as the main obstacle to its development, while U.S. counterparts attacked Cuba's electoral system.

Cuba's human rights record was up for review before the U.N. Human Rights Council Wednesday. All U.N. member states are subject to such periodic reviews.
