EDITORIAL: David Beckham's quest for a stadium has morphed into what looks like a no-bid public land grab. Miami commissioners shouldn't roll over for this one.

David Beckham’s quest for a soccer stadium has morphed into a gargantuan retail/entertainment project that wants to use precious public land. But there’s been too little transparency.

After another warm night, Key West's low of 85°F is on track to once again tie the daily warm minimum temperature record. This would be the 7th warm minimum record for July and the 11th for 2018.

Another climate tidbit: the average monthly temperature so far at Key West is 86.6°F -- ranking as the 4th warmest on record. The warmest July on record is 2007, when the average temperature was 86.8°F.
