Law won't let him strip Stoneman Douglas deputy's pension, Gov. Scott says

Gov. Rick Scott says he can't deny a monthly pension of $8,700 to the former deputy who failed to enter the school during the mass shooting.

Andrew Pollack, father of Parkland shooting victim Meadow Pollack, asked Gov. Rick Scott to cut off deputy Scot Peterson's pension. Peterson didn't enter the school during the shooting. Scott says he can't, citing Florida law.
