It was so hot that a South Florida city broke a 62-year record. Is relief on the way?

South Florida is not alone in experience extreme heat. An extreme heat wave has hit Texas and surrounding states including Arkansas and Louisiana, with temperatures climbing above 100 degrees for several days in a row.

While most of South Florida was extremely hot over the weekend, Key West was the only city to break a record with 94 degree weather. Forecasters say rain is on the way this week, and could help it feel a tad bit cooler.
