Falcon 9 booster at sea likely destroyed, sources say


Space industry insiders say it was intentionally destroyed at sea, possibly by the military, rather than being towed back to shore.

The controversy has space and science websites talking about whether the government played a role in getting rid of a SpaceX booster.
