DOJ to settle in Orlando bombing range cleanup; 4,000 homes planned at 417 & 528


Hundreds of bombs and explosives have been found at the Pinecastle Jeep Range, which is visible from the interchange of State Roads 417 and 528 near Lake Nona, since World War II.

The federal government has agreed to settle a lawsuit over the cost of cleaning up explosives on the 1,500-acre former Pinecastle Jeep Range.
