The sheriff said someone shot them through the window of a restaurant. The shooter was later found dead outside that restaurant.

Two deputies in Gilchrist County, west of Gainesville, were killed in the line of duty today.
The sheriff says the deputies were shot through the window of a Chinese restaurant in Trenton, FL. The shooter was then found dead outside the restaurant.
He's not sure what the motive is.

If my husband was a cop I would say you're not going to work anymore. That's it! I've seen enough. It's just not worth it.
My generation did not grow up this way. Hard to grasp it. Saw it coming with the growing lack of respect for law enforcement over the last few years. Wish I had an answer on how to fix this craziness. Makes no sense.
God be with the families and fellow officers who are going thru this stressful time. God bless you all.

These deputies had families that loved them and will mourn their loss for years to come. They were more than just law enforcement officers. They were shot and killed by a coward. The attacks on our brave men and women in law enforcement must come to an end.

Where are the quiet rooms located? I’ve been there a few times recently with my child on the spectrum and have never seen these rooms. I haven’t seen any signs for them or anything. 😞

This is truly the best park for kids and adults. My oldest has autism and this has always been his favorite place. The staff are so friendly and understanding. Every area in the park offers something for all ages. Best Place hands down!
